Donald Trump continues to take the United States, once a well-respected country, to new lows. Recently, Trump reminded everyone that he is a flaming racist when he retweeted hateful anti-Muslim videos on Twitter.
Those videos had actually come from UK-based Jayda Fransen, who is notorious for being a far-right anti-Muslim bigot. Naturally, that’s pretty much grounds for becoming one of Trump’s favorite influences. The videos Trump retweeted depicted Muslims assaulting people, with the purpose of them being to stoke bigotry and create more division and ethnic hatred.
The majority of the country — and much of the world — is absolutely shocked and disgusted that the President of the United States would actually think that sharing such a thing is appropriate. A brilliant reaction to this news has actually come from the United Kingdom, as UK Parliament members couldn’t help but address this horrific issue and blast Trump for being an embarrassment to the human race.
In the video below, Labour MP Stephen Doughty trashes Trump for sharing “inflammatory” videos with his followers, with the sole purpose of riling up his hateful troops. Doughty’s remarks were supported by his fellow MPs, with several of them shouting “Hear, hear!” One MP yelled that Trump’s tweets were “disgraceful.”

Things are pretty bad when officials from other countries have to condemn your president because the people who elected him clearly don’t have the backbone to do so. Many Americans have weighed in on this terrible move by Trump, but the prominent Republican politicians who should be addressing this issue have been silent. Trump deserves to be condemned on the world stage, and we’re glad that at least other countries aren’t afraid to.
